Why Bridge2Aus

Built by someone who made the crossing

Bridge2Aus was founded by MD Shafiqul Islam, who left Bangladesh for Australia in 2012 and built a career from the ground up — starting in front-line hospitality roles in Australia and rising, over more than a decade, into senior hospitality leadership.

He knows the paperwork, the waiting and the homesickness personally — and started Bridge2Aus to make that path a little clearer for the next Bangladeshi student or family considering it.

“I made this crossing without a map. My goal is for the next person not to need one.” — MD Shafiqul Islam, Founder
How we work, honestly

What we do — and what we hand to a registered agent

Bridge2Aus is an education and student-services consultancy based in Sylhet, with a growing network in Australia. We believe you deserve to know exactly who is advising you at every step.

  • We are not yet a Registered Migration Agent (MARN holder). Under Australian law, only a registered migration agent or lawyer can lawfully give immigration advice or lodge a visa application for you.
  • We handle course selection, institution applications and document preparation; for formal visa advice and lodgement, we refer you to a trusted Registered Migration Agent partner.
  • Before paying anyone for visa advice, always check their registration on the OMARA public register on the Department of Home Affairs website.
  • Bridge2Aus is working toward its own migration agent registration as part of a five-year plan — this page will be updated the day that changes.
